Samaritan Ministries

“Samaritan ministries was founded in 1994 by Ted Pittenger. Samaritan Ministries is a Biblical solution to health care. It is not insurance. We deliver authentic, compassionate, and personal service in the name of Christ to enable and inspire members to provide for one another’s medical needs through prayer, encouragement, and financial support. Our purpose is to glorify God by growing and equipping disciples of Jesus Christ to love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to care for their neighbor as themselves.”

The Outdoor Bible

Bardin & Marsee publishing provides waterproof Bibles and notebooks. These can be used anywhere and not be easily ruined by the outdoor elements.

“As believers in Jesus Christ with a love to be in God’s creation and exposed to the elements, we desired to have a Bible by our side for reading. Our exploring has led us to mountain tops, river banks, sandy beaches, misty valleys, dark caves, hot springs, and now a spill prone breakfast table. In 2005, God allowed us to publish the first Waterproof Bible and put an end to all the worrying that we have done in the past about ruining Bibles.”

“The Bible gives every Christian the responsibility to take the gospel to the whole world. God has ordained the local church–made up of believers—to carry out the Great commission:

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20

For that reason, the Fellowship Tract League is a local church ministry, operating under the authority of the Fellowship Baptist Church of Lebanon, Ohio. We believe the world can be reached for Christ through the printed page. Our mission is to help provide the materials needed for God’s people all around the world to fulfill His command.

“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God . . .” Acts 26:18

The Fellowship Tract League was founded in 1978 when the Lord led Pastor Wash Pennington and the Fellowship Baptist Church of Lebanon, Ohio to do more to reach the world with the message of the gospel. The Fellowship Tract League began in one room of the church basement with a single sheet-fed press. Today, the ministry occupies a 26,300 square foot building and operates a full-color printing press that is capable of printing twice as many tracts per hour as the smaller 2-color presses as we used in the past.

By God’s grace and provision, we have printed and shipped over 5.2 billion gospel tracts in more than 85 different languages to more than 200 countries and territories. Every tract printed by the Fellowship Tract League has been given away free of charge, as the Lord provides.”

Faithful Witness Tract Society

The Faithful Witness Tract Society was founded as a ministry of Community Baptist Church in 1997 with a goal of sending one million tracts a year to independent Baptist missionaries serving on foreign fields.  These tracts are sent free of charge and postage paid.  It is the Society’s policy to send only tracts that contain the Biblical doctrines of repentance and the shed blood of the Saviour.  We use God’s Simple Plan of Salvation for most of the foreign languages.  The tracts we have produced include Passport, The Gift of God, Heaven.com, The Marks of a Cult, and Faith Checkup (a 23 page tract for assurance of salvation.)

Edge Christian Camp

Camp but at church–this is the concentration of Edge2go as a team from the Edge comes directly to your church to conduct services, skits, music, games, God-and-I-time, and outside competitions to give the youth of local churches a small glimpse of experiencing camp at The Edge. Ministering in states across the United States, the Edge2go team enjoys staying through weekends to minister in the local church encouraging the church members and local church leadership! Experiencing an Edge2go encourages local churches and opens the door for parents and teens to come to the Edge to receive truth from a week-long experience on the property.

Because of the lasting impact of camp on the lives of young people, The Edge has a desire to provide missionaries across the world with the tools necessary to conduct their own camp. Local churches and individual donors help provide the means necessary to purchase the equipment required so that the missionary may run their own camps without the assistance of The Edge. The Edge team travels directly to the missionaries’ place of ministry to model a week of meetings for campers of any age! The impact lasts much longer after the team has gone as God’s Word continues to work in the hearts of the natives who have heard the message of God’s love through the Edge Team and the faithful missionaries who minister in the country!

Selah International Counseling Ministries

Selah International Counseling Ministries exists to provide compassionate, Christ-centered counseling for those serving the Lord on the Mission field or in Ministry.

One of Selah’s ministries is personal counseling and care for ministry leaders. Ministry often requires pouring into others continuously. Selah is there to do the same – they want to pour into you and your family. Counseling services are available in person and virtually, in both English and Spanish, ensuring accessibility for individuals and families serving in diverse locations.

Selah International Counseling Ministries also specializes in missionary debriefing and soul care for the entire family. Transitioning between cultures, returning from the mission field, or navigating long-term service can bring emotional and spiritual strain. Selah provides an environment for missionaries and their loved ones to process experiences, restore emotional health, and reconnect as a family.

Selah’s counseling services address a wide range of topics, including:

Grief and emotional challenges

      • Relationship and family dynamics
      • Behavioral issues
      • Crisis intervention and transitional support

In addition to counseling, Selah offers retreats designed specifically for those in ministry. These include pastoral retreats and workshops for missionaries and ministry leaders.

Selah International Counseling Ministries also hosts conferences designed to encourage those in ministry. Two of the conferences they offer are:

Selah Refresh – a two-night conference in November held at the Wilds with a cost of $300 per person, it is created specifically for ministry leaders and missionaries to step away from daily responsibilities.

Selah Soul Care Conferences – Whether about marriage, parenting, teens, or soul care in the church, they would love to come and serve your church in this way.

Email Regarding Ministry

Responding to Emails

Missionary Gayle Alford wrote in as a suggestion:

“Occasionally, we will get emails (either people we know from a church that supports us (like kids in Awanas, etc.) or complete strangers who found us on the internet with questions about our mission country-many times for a report they are doing.
