Many missionaries find that teaching English as a second language is a wonderful outreach opportunity. But how does one get started in doing that? ConnecTEFL is a wonderful online resource where anyone interested in teaching English as a second language can receive training and certification.

They offer three levels of coursework:

• 120-hour online or in-class (located in Memphis, TN) training for $1000
• Self-study course for $800
• Basic ESL and culture course for $300
