Long-Term Missionary House in Atlanta
The FIBC “Longer-Stay” Missionary House is a brick, ranch-style house sitting on 2.2 beautiful acres – primarily intended for Independent, Fundamental Baptists. This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom house is fully furnished with furniture and appliances, cookware, linens, and TV (not cable). The guest bedroom is equipped to handle multiple children. Each guest is expected to furnish his own paper products, soaps, detergents, etc. (after using any starter sets provided).
The intent of the house is for longer stays (of 2 weeks or longer). This will make a great “hub” for deputation and furlough time in the Metro Atlanta Area, as well as provide a place for those who may be using the hospitals in the Greater Atlanta region.
The suggested donation to FIBC is $5 a day, with a minimum of $70 (in keeping with the desire for 2+ week stays). Each additional day after the 2 weeks will be $5 daily. Stays shorter than 2 weeks can be arranged (if available), but the suggested donation is still $70 (as if you stayed 2 weeks). This helps us with cleaning costs and utilities.
No smoking or alcoholic beverages are allowed on the property. In deference to the many who struggle with allergies, we have a “no pets” policy. There is no internet at the Missionary House; however, wireless internet is available on the church property next door.
While only 2 miles away from the convenience of Interstate 75 (Exit 218; South Metro Atlanta), Walmart, Lowes, and a multitude of stores and restaurants, you may relax in the Missionary House and enjoy the pastoral-like setting. Imagine sitting on the screened-in porch at night with the ceiling fan on while listening to the sound of nature!
We hope this house will be a blessing to many. For more information or to make a reservation, please contact Faith Independent Baptist Church at (770) 957-9889.
